- WWE Superstar Tensai, real name Matt Bloom, worked tonight's NXT TV tapings on commentary as he often does. However, tonight he was reportedly introduced as Jason Alberts.

- The dark match before tonight's WWE NXT TV tapings at Full Sail University saw WWE Tag Team Champions The New Age Outlaws defeat Tye Dillinger and Jason Jordan.

- NXT star Solomon Crowe, formerly known as Sami Callihan, worked tonight's tapings and will make his NXT TV debut in the next few weeks. He has reportedly dropped the hacker gimmick that he debuted a few months ago at NXT live events.
