- We noted before that Prowrestling.net reports TNA is spending $300,000 on three shows at New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom this summer. PWInsider believes that $300,000 figure may be a little high. There may be some people who have left TNA or are no longer in power that are floating wrong information. It's said that some people were actually pushing Dixie Carter to run Slammiversary in New York City but they ended up going with Texas.
