- As noted, former WCW announcer Tony Schiavone was at WWE headquarters recently, likely to film footage for DVD projects and the WWE Network. Regarding a potential return to WWE commentary, Schiavone said on Twitter that his voice probably couldn't handle it these days. He said it was a mistake leaving WWE in 1990 and he quit wrestling announcing because WWE didn't want him when they bought WCW. Schiavone now does play-by-play work for the minor league Gwinnett Braves baseball team and is a producer for the Georgia Bulldog Radio Network.
