WWE NXT Recap With Video: Sheamus Vs. Aiden English, Camacho Vs. Adam Rose, More
This week's episode of NXT opens up with Mojo Rawley making his entrance. Tom Phillips, William Regal, and Byron Saxton are on commentary.
Mojo Rawley vs. Bull Dempsey
Dempsey kicks Mojo and clubs him in the back. Mojo fights back with strikes to the face. Dempsey attacks Mojo in the corner, and rams his shoulder into Mojo's stomach. He drops a knee on Mojo's head. Dempsey clubs Mojo in the chest and locks in his head. Mojo fights out, but Dempsey clubs him in the back again. He locks Mojo's head back in. Mojo fights free and slams Dempsey back first to the mat. Mojo rams Dempsey into the corner and hits a pair of splashes. Mojo connects with his seated senton for the win.
Winner: Mojo Rawley
Then, Devin Taylor is backstage with CJ Parker. Parker is shocked and sickened by Mojo Rawley and his lifestyle choice. He accuses Rawley of surviving off fast food and littering with the wrappers. He is going to dispose of Rawley next week.
Back from commercial and Tyler Breeze makes his entrance.
Tyler Breeze vs. Sami Zayn
Corey Graves attacks Zayn while he is making his entrance and tosses him into the post. Some refs back Graves off as a doctor checks on Zayn. They help walk Zayn to the back.
Then, Sheamus is backstage with Devin Taylor. He is excited to be there. Aiden English interrupts and introduces himself. Sheamus tells English that his stones haven't dropped yet, and he is going to speak to JBL to fix that for him.
Back from commercial and Adam Rose makes his entrance.
Adam Rose vs. Camacho
Renee Young is on commentary for this match. They lock up and Camacho works on Rose's arm. Rose fights out and rolls around Camacho. He prances around Camacho and they tie up again. Rose elbows Camacho in the head. He locks Camacho in a side headlock. Camacho slams Rose to the mat. He stomps on Rose's head. Camacho slaps Rose in the chest repeatedly. The crowd chants part pooper. Camacho snap mares Rose and slaps him in the chest some more. He locks Rose's head back in.
Camacho lands multiple shots to the head. Camacho whips Rose into the corner and lands a body avalanche. Rose angrily tackles Camacho and hits him in the face several times. Rose lands multiple head strikes and an elbow in the corner. Rose hits a big spine buster. He signals for his clothesline finish and hits it for the win.
Winner: Adam Rose
Back from commercial and Sasha Banks makes her entrance.
Sasha Banks (with Charlotte) vs. Bayley (with Natalya)
Sasha backs Bayley into the corner. Bayley reverses and goes for an elbow, but Sasha ducks between the ropes. Bayley locks in a full Nelson. She snap mares Sasha. Sasha comes back with a few strikes. Bayley locks a full Nelson back in. She drops Sasha to the mat. Bayley puts on Sasha's sunglasses and mocks her. Sasha charges, and Bayley sits on her back and mocks her some more. Bayley flaps jacks Sasha into the turnbuckle. She charges, but Sasha moves. Sasha dropkicks Bayley in the back. She slams Bayley's head into the mat several times.
Sasha chokes Bayley on the center rope. She slings Bayley across the ring by her head. Sasha slaps Bayley in the back of the head and goes for the pin. She snap mares Bayley and locks her head in. Bayley tosses Sasha off, but Sasha keeps up the attack in the corner. Bayley battles back with elbows to the head. She goes for a dropkick, but Sasha hangs onto the ropes. Sasha tosses Bayley outside. Natalya stops Charlotte from attacking Bayley.
Bayley gets in the ring, and Charlotte attacks Natalya. Sasha tries to roll up Bayley, but Bayley counters into a pin for the win.
Winner: Bayley
Back from commercial and Aiden English makes his entrance.
Aiden English vs. Sheamus
English says he's going to use the WWE to make it to Broadway. Sheamus doubts it, and says he sees that English likes to sing. Where he comes from, they celebrate with song. Sheamus asks if it's okay if he shares an old Irish song. The crowd starts clapping, and Sheamus starts singing. English takes his mic away and says it's his show. Sheamus takes the mic back, and resumes singing. English hits him out of the ring. Sheamus turns around slowly and yells to ring the bell.
English goes outside, and Sheamus chases him around the ring. They go back inside, and English mounts a bunch of strikes and kicks on Sheamus. Sheamus clubs English in the back and lands multiple strikes in the corner. English tries to go outside, and Sheamus catches him and lands his 10 chest clubs through the ropes. He tosses English back inside and goes for the Brogue kick, but English rolls outside as things go to commercial.
Back from commercial and English is in control. He kicks and strikes Sheamus in the corner. English knees Sheamus in the corner. Sheamus comes back with a back elbow. He tosses English outside. Sheamus follows and slams English into the barrier. He high fives a little Sheamus fan and tosses English inside. English rolls out the other side. Sheamus follows again, and English tosses him into the post. He pulls out Sheamus's legs, making him fall onto the steel steps. English hits a clothesline and tosses Sheamus back inside.
English locks in Sheamus's head. English elbows the back of Sheamus's neck. He steps on Sheamus against the ropes. English strikes Sheamus in the corner. Sheamus battles back with strikes of his own, but English lands a knee to the stomach. Sheamus kicks English and goes up top, but English neck breakers him off. English locks Sheamus's head in. Sheamus fights out, but English locks in a sleeper and jumps on Sheamus's back. Sheamus sinks to the mat.
Sheamus gets to his feet and flips English off of him. Sheamus rams his shoulder into English's stomach in the corner and slams him to the mat. Sheamus signals for the Brogue kick and hits it for the win.
