WWE Smackdown Recap With Video: Harper Vs. Cena, Fatal 4-Way Tag Match, Big Show On Miz TV, More

This week's episode of Smackdown opens with Michael Cole announcing a Fatal 4-Way to determine the number one contender to the tag titles. Cole and JBL are on commentary.

Kane's music hits and he comes down to the ring. He brings up and shows footage of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon's assault on Daniel Bryan from RAW. The footage blacks out for a second when Triple H hits Bryan in the top of the head with a chair.

Kane says Bryan had it coming. Bryan is an insufferable egomaniac and feeds on the crowd. He says that if the crowd wants to blame anyone, they should look in the mirror because it's their fault that he began to believe he was bigger than the WWE and the Authority. No one is bigger than the Authority. He says that Triple H should have done what he did a long time ago. He tells the crowd to let it be a lesson to everyone.

Kane says that some people are just better than others, and the Authority is better than everyone. What happened to the Yes Movement is something the crowd deserved. He pulls out a letter from Triple H and reads it. Triple H says that he regrets that Bryan pushed him so far and hopes that the Universe understands there must be respect to the Authority. Kane finishes reading the letter and leaves the ring.

Fandango makes his entrance.

Fandango (with Summer Rae) vs. Fernando (with Diego and El Torito)

The match started over a commercial break. Back from commercial and Fandango is in control. He locks in Fernando's head from behind on the mat. Fernando fights out, but Fandango dropkicks him. He goes up top and leaps off, but Fernando rolls out of the way. Fernando drops Fandango and strikes him. He slides between Fandango's legs and head scissors him to the mat. Fernando lands a back elbow. Summer Rae gets up on the apron and distracts Fernando. Fandango attacks him off the distraction. Torito chases Summer around the ring. She hops up on the apron, and Fandango grabs her. Fernando rolls up Fandango quickly for the win.

Winner: Fernando

Back from commercial and Damien Sandow is in the ring.

Damien Sandow vs. Dolph Ziggler

Sandow knees Ziggler repeatedly in the stomach and lands his somersault Russian leg sweep. He headbutts Ziggler and goes for a clothesline. Ziggler ducks and hits a dropkick. Sandow goes outside. Ziggler follows and slams Sandow's head into the apron. He sends Sandow inside. Ziggler goes up top. Sandow trips him off, and Ziggler falls badly to the outside. Ziggler makes it back in the ring at eight. Sandow punches him several times and rams his leg into the side of Ziggler's head. Sandow goes for the pin.

Sandow locks in Ziggler's head on the mat. Ziggler gets out, but Sandow hits an elbow. He stomps on Ziggler's side and drops a knee. Sandow tosses Ziggler outside. He follows and throws Ziggler into the barrier. Sandow takes Ziggler back inside and goes for the pin. He hits Ziggler with a headbutt and snap mares him. Sandow locks Ziggler's head back in on the mat. Ziggler gets to his feet and hits Sandow with a DDT. He hits Sandow with a flying cross body and mounted punches in the corner.

Ziggler lands a neckbreaker and gets a two count. He goes for the famouser, but Sandow counters and plants Ziggler back first to the mat. Ziggler side steps some offense from Sandow and hits the famouser for the win.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

Back from commercial and the Wyatt Family cuts a promo against John Cena ahead of his match against Luke Harper later on the show.

Then, a video package about WWE Slam City is shown. Afterwards, the Shield makes their entrance.

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins (with Roman Reigns) vs. The Real Americans (with Zeb Colter) vs. Ryback and Curtis vs. Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal (with Heath Slater)

Ambrose and Axel start off. Ambrose locks in Axel's head. Ambrose hits a shoulder tackle. He slams Axel to the mat. Ambrose chops Axel. Axel tags in Mahal. Ambrose clubs Mahal in the face. He knees Mahal in the stomach. Ambrose tags in Rollins. Rollins goes to work on Mahal's arm. Ryback tags in for Mahal. He stomps on Rollins. Ryback tries to Suplex Rollins, but Rollins fights out. Ambrose gets in the ring and they send Ryback outside. Axel gets hit outside as well, and the Shield takes out Ryback and Axel with dives as things go to commercial.

Back from commercial and Mahal is in control of Ambrose. Axel tags in for Mahal. He stomps on Ambrose in the corner and chokes him with his boot. Ryback tags in for Axel and kicks Ambrose in the back. He body slams Ambrose and hits a splash. Ryback kicks Ambrose in the back again and chokes him on the middle rope. Ryback drives his shoulder into Ambrose's stomach. Ambrose comes back with a pin attempt. Ryback suplexes Ambrose. He signals for the meat hook and hits it, but Swagger tags in for Ryback and goes for the pin.

Swagger hits Ambrose with the Swagger bomb. Cesaro tags in for Swagger and lands a double boot stomp. Cesaro hits Ambrose with a forearm to the face and locks in his head. Ambrose gets free and they exchange strikes. Ambrose lands a big clothesline. Swagger tags in for Swagger, and Ambrose goes for a quick pin. He DDTs Swagger. Rollins and Mahal tag in. Rollins kicks McIntyre off the apron and slams Mahal to the mat. Rollins hits Axel off the apron and sends Ryback over the top rope. He takes out Ryback with a dive.

Rollins goes for his curb stomp on Mahal, but Slater grabs his feet. Reigns spears Slater on the outside, and Rollins hits Mahal with his curb stomp. McIntyre breaks up the pin. People start brawling, and Kane runs out. He attacks Roman Reigns and the bell rings.

No Contest

The New Age Outlaws join in and help destroy Reigns. Back in the ring, Axel, Ryback, and the Real Americans take out Rollins and Ambrose.

Reigns tries to fight back against the Outlaws and Kane, but is overcome. Kane kicks Reigns in the temple. Kane and the Outlaws get in the ring. Billy Gunn hits Rollins with the famouser. Kane chokeslams Ambrose. Road Dogg exits the ring and attacks Reigns again on the ramp. Gunn follows, and they send Reigns back into the ring. Kane chokeslams Reigns.

Back from commercial and Miz is waiting in the ring for Miz TV. He brings up the Andre the Giant Battle Royal at WrestleMania and announces he will be in the match. Miz assures everyone that he is going to win, and then welcomes out Big Show as his guest.

Show comes down to the ring and shakes Miz's hand. Miz asks the crowd if they think Show's going to win. Show says it's good to be back on Miz TV and says people have always compared him to Andre. He says there's no better way to cement his legacy. Miz brings up that Show has lost nine times at WrestleMania. Show tells Miz to watch his mouth.

Miz says Show isn't the only guest on Miz TV. Titus O'Neil, Kofi Kingston, Alberto Del Rio, Big E, Cody Rhodes, Mark Henry, Goldust and Sheamus come down to the ring. Sheamus has a mic and suggests they all stop talking and start fighting. Miz says he can't think of a better way to prove who's going to win by taking out the biggest threat. He looks at Big Show, and everyone starts brawling.

Everyone gets tossed out except Sheamus and Big Show. They start fighting. Sheamus goes for the Brogue kick, and Show takes him to the apron. Miz slides back in and tries to toss Show outside. Show hits Sheamus off the apron, and then easily tosses Miz out. He stands tall in the ring alone as the segment ends.

Back from commercial and Big E is in the ring with Alberto Del Rio.

Big E vs. Alberto Del Rio

Del Rio attacks E in the corner. E counters out and hits multiple strikes. Del Rio comes back and lands his hanging corner boot stomp. He locks in E's head from behind. E drives Del Rio into the corner and charges. Del Rio puts his boots up. He attacks E's arm. E comes back with a pair of clotheslines and a belly-to-belly Suplex. E goes for the Big Ending, but Del Rio counters with a backstabber. Del Rio signals for the cross arm breaker. He goes for it, but E shoves him away. He charges Del Rio, but Del Rio sidesteps, sending E into the corner. Del Rio hits his super kick to the face for the win.

Then, footage is shown from earlier in the day of Santino getting makeup put on his face so that Emma won't see a wound on his face. Emma sneaks up on him from behind and they get all awkward and smack into each other.

Then, the Bella Twins are in the ring.

The Bellas vs. Natalya and Summer Rae

Natalya and Nikki start off. They go back and forth. Nikki goes for a pin. Natalya kicks out, and Summer tags herself in. Nikki slams her to the mat. Summer wraps Nikki's leg around the bottom rope. She tries to keep the attack up, but Nikki moves and tags in Brie. Brie hits a dropkick and a knee to the stomach. Brie hits a running knee to the head. She goes up top, and Summer hits her. She tags in Natalya. Natalya and Summer start shoving each other, and Brie takes them both out with a dropkick. She hits Brie with a sit out facebuster for the win.

Winners: The Bellas

Then, Undertaker's appearance on Main Event is shown.

Next, Kane is backstage with the three teams that were in the Fatal 4-Way with the Shield and gives Curtis Axel and Ryback and the Real Americans title shots, and he enters 3MB into the Battle Royal as a reward for helping him.

Back from commercial and Lana comes out and introduces Alexander Rusev. He comes out and says something in Bulgarian.

Then, John Cena makes his entrance.

John Cena vs. Luke Harper (with Erick Rowan and Bray Wyatt)

Harper rams Cena into the corner and hits body shots. He rubs his forearm across Cena's face. Cena fights out of the corner with right hands. Harper hits a neckbreaker. He uppercuts Cena. Harper does his gator death roll and keeps Cena's head locked in. Cena fights out and slams Harper to the mat. Cena lands a shoulder tackle and goes for another, but Harper super kicks him in the face. Harper goes for a body slam, but Cena counters out and signals for the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Rowan walks around the ring and stares at Cena as he hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle.

Cena goes for his finisher, but Harper hits a big boot. Harper goes for a boot in the corner, but Cena moves and Harper falls outside. He gets back in the ring and Cena locks in the STF. Harper escapes by biting Cena. Harper goes for a power bomb, but Cena counters with a head scissors. Harper hits a head scissors of his own and a sit out body slam. Harper goes for the discus clothesline, but Cena ducks and hits the AA for the win.

Winner: John Cena

Cena quickly leaves the ring and goes up the ramp as Bray and Rowan dash into the ring. They stare each other down as the show ends.
