Last-Minute WrestleMania 30 Thoughts: Match Of The Night, Face/Heel Turns, Title Changes, More

Well, folks. In the words of Bray Wyatt, "We're here." The excitement for WrestleMania 30 is feverish, and hopefully the WWE can deliver to the bar the Universe is setting. The last time WWE showed that their creativity still has life to it was SummerSlam, so it is not impossible to put together a memorable event. Heck, it is the biggest event in WWE history. No pressure.

Let's discuss a few thoughts heading to the pay per view.

Match of the Night
The triple threat match will be the match of the night. Yes, WWE could pull a swerve and not have Daniel Bryan in the match, but it would just be absurd. Batista will be the power element, and a good touch to a feud between Bryan and Orton that has been very good over the past nine months. Whether Triple H inserts himself in the match to make it a four-way is yet to be determined, but that would not be a bad idea either.

I have a feeling that John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt will be up there as one of the best as well. Many complain about Cena's work, but (admittedly) he does a good job pacing matches to make them really good with those who can go in the ring. Bray Wyatt is talented in the ring far beyond his level of experience, and creates a very good dynamic compared to Cena's style. There will be a number of close calls and false finishes, which will raise the level of crowd involvement throughout the match. I was not a fan of Cena/Bray, still not all the way sold, but I will concede to it being a good match.

Face/Heel Turns
The only turn I can see happening would be Ambrose and Rollins turning on Reigns and indirectly assisting the Corporates in winning the six-man match. However, Rollins is starting to get as match support as a face as Reigns, so that might not be a good idea to turn him back so soon. Ambrose is a natural heel, and joining the Authority would not only give him a good spot as a heel, but it would bring some attention back to the US title. A triple threat match at Extreme Rules between the three would be really good.

Surprise Entrants
There are about three open spots left in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. The two spots that seems to be most realistic would go to Chris Jericho and Rob Van Dam. The other, maybe someone from the Hall of Fame. Even Carlito would be sufficient. I think we can put away the rumors of Hulk Hogan and/or the Ultimate Warrior being a part of the match. Hogan is in good shape for 60, but any physical involvement could be costly for him. Warrior is in good shape as well, and it would not be extremely far-fetched for him to be in it, but not to get eliminated. And who wants Warrior to win it? *crickets... crickets*

Title Changes
Usos will retain the titles on the preshow. They are the most polished team on the roster, and killing their momentum as they are doing a great job reviving the division would be a bad move. AJ Lee will not have the title by the end of the Divas Invitational. Someone from the Total Divas show will have it, most likely either Naomi or one of the Bella Twins.

Lastly, this is Daniel Bryan's night. After having two horribly booked WWE Championship reigns, the life-long WrestleMania moment will be created by having 70+ thousand people chanting "YES!" as the show closes. Vince McMahon favors "feel-good" moments at the end of Wrestlemanias due to it being such a grand spectacle, and that would be the best moment you could create at this time.

Enjoy the show. It should be one for the ages.
