DISH And DirecTV Dropping WWE PPVs A Good Thing?, Stock Update, WWE Shop Sale

- The Motley Fool has an article here looking at DirecTV and DISH Network no longer carrying WWE pay-per-views. The article noted that WrestleMania XXX garnered nearly 400,000 buys, which is significantly more than the 295,000 that the company projected since the event was available on the WWE Network.

The story noted that carriers dropping the pay-per-views could be a positive because it could lead to fans buying Network subscriptions. However, on the flip side, it could lead to customers deciding that the events are "not worth their time," noting that their "customers are more resistant to change than the company expected."

- WWE stock is up 1.23% today, closing at $19.75.

- Through the end of the night, regular priced t-shirts are only $19.99 at WWEShop.com at this link.
