Indy INC: UCW Champion Leveigh Talks Warring Factions, Kratos Wins New Gold, CZW Event, More

- Worlds collided at Ultimate Combat Wrestling's May 3 show in Union City, Tennessee as the night's main event was ground zero for the ongoing feud between the promotion's two major factions, New Religion Generation and Jay Moore's Monster Stable. UCW champ Anton Leveigh led NRG into battle, accompanied by his cohorts Jason Tha Brain and DJ Stunner. The Monsters?Psycho, JD Wolfe, and Bam, Bam Bundy?attacked NRG at the behest of leader Jay Moore in furtherance of Moores scheme to rid UCW of their foes. In a lengthy fight that reached every corner of the ring and out on to the floor, the Monsters seemed poised for a big victory, seemingly outgunning NRG with respect to size, power and out-and-out freakishness. But at a critical point in the match, as Monster-boss Jay Moore ascended the ropes to deliver a veritable coup de grace a the prone Jason Tha Brain, Anton Leveigh leaped up on the ring apron and knocked Moore from his perch, giving Brain the opportunity to regain his senses and pin Moore for the win. Speaking to WrestlingINC.com about the match and its outcome, Levigh explained, "As leader of NRG I have to focus on the well being of my teammates. We're one of the strongest groups of guys in West Tennessee and when we are put in the ring with monsters like Psycho, we become even more tight-knit.. No matter what punishment I'm enduring I must protect my comrades. During the final moments of this match we were in trouble, so I did anything any leader of any war would do, and that's anything it takes to win."

- At CZW's "Proving Grounds" show later tonight (May 10), reigning champion Drew Gulak will defend his title against Chris Dickinson, Biff Busick and MASADA. The show is part of a doubleheader with Women Superstars Uncensored. A major matchup in the WSU card is the bout between LuFisto and Athena, who will compete for the vacant WSU title.

- Out on the West Coast, the "Kratos Era" is still in full swing as tough guy JR Kratos scored another major victory on April 26 with the help of his tag partner Idris Jackson. The team challenged The Suburban Commandos and The West Side Bad Boys in a ladder match at the Gold Rush Pro show in Pacifica California on April 26, ultimately snagging the gold to become the company's new tag champs. Regarding his alliance with Jackson, Kratos told WrestlingINC.com: "I feel I made a great decision in picking Idris and giving him an opportunity. He is an all around athlete that has a passion for the business and also puts in the work in and outside the ropes. Mark my words: Idris Jackson is going to make a lot of noise! As far the 'Kratos Era,' my win with Idris meant everything to me, especially because we won the titles in the city I grew up in where I once dreamed of becoming a professional wrestler. To win that night was like everything coming full circle for me."
