Bobby Roode Responds To TNA Suspension, AJ Styles Going For Another Title, Chris Sabin, Aries

- As noted yesterday, MVP announced on his Twitter that Bobby Roode has been suspended "indefinitely" for his actions on last week's episode of Impact Wrestling. He wrote:

"And @REALBobbyRoode is indefinitely suspended from @IMPACTWRESTLING for his unacceptable conduct! Take the time to think about your actions."

Roode responded to the storyline suspension on TNA's official website, saying:

"I think this is an abuse of power and I think this is bulls–t. Two weeks ago, Eric Young and I tore the house down. We made a deal to do it again last Thursday night and then MVP inserted himself into this, had me thrown out of the arena and now, today, I found out that I've been suspended. Not only that, but he names himself the #1 contender and schedules a title match. Let me tell you something, if there is anyone who deserves a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at Slammiversary, it's me. Eric Young and I have a lot of history and I gave him one hell of a match even after I went to war with Gunner earlier in the night. MVP hasn't earned a damned thing and he sure as hell lost the respect of all of us in the back."

- Great North Wrestling announced that New Japan Pro Wrestling IWGP Champion AJ Styles will face Canadian Champion HANNIBAL "The Animal" for the GNW Canadian Championship on August 30th at the Robert Hartely Arena in Hawkesbury, ON. Tickets are on sale now through ticketweb.ca.

- Sabin is also slated to face Ricochet at Sunday's International Wrestling Federation event in Phoenix, Arizona at 4pm.
