'UFC Fight Night: Munoz Vs. Mousasi' Results & Bonuses: Gegard Mousasi Finishes Mark Munoz Early

Former Strikeforce champion Gegard Mousasi got the sour taste of defeat out of his mouth by submitting Mark Munoz in the main event of UFC Fight Night 41 Saturday in Germany. Mousasi had lost to Lyoto Machida earlier this year via decision.

Mousasi had no trouble handling Munoz and his wrestling style, taking him down himself and working quickly for the rear-naked choke. The win improved Mousasi (35-4-2) to 2-1 with the promotion, while Munoz fell to 13-5 overall and just 1-3 in his last four.

In other action, C.B. Dollaway defeated Francis Carmont via decision, Sean Strickland downed Luke Barnatt in a battle of unbeaten middleweights and Nicklas Backstrom scored a submission won vs. Tom Niinimaki. Mousasi, Dollaway, Backstrom and Magnus Cedenblad were all awarded "Performance of the Night" bonuses and $50,000 each. The attendance was revealed at over 8,000.
