WWE Smackdown Recap With Video: Rollins Explains His Betrayal, Big Show Takes On Orton, More

The show opens with a recap of Shield vs. Evolution at Payback, and Seth Rollins turning on Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns on RAW.

Then, Triple H makes his entrance, and he's followed by Seth Rollins. Triple H takes up the mic as the crowd chants you sold out. Triple H says he's sure the crowd thinks he's out here to brag, but he's not that kind of guy. Besides, everyone already knows that anyway. He is there to help everyone get answers from Seth Rollins, the man responsible for the most dominant group in WWE history, the Shield.

Triple H says the crowd has questions for Rollins about the Shield, the group that was even able to defeat Evolution. Triple H says the crowd is owed an answer from Seth. He asks how and why he did what he did. Seth takes up the mic and says everyone wants an explanation. They want to know why he did what he did to his brothers. So, he's going to tell them. The only person that knows why he did what he did, and the only person he owes anything to, is him.

Dolph Ziggler's music hits, and he comes out on the stage. He says he's sure he's going to be punished and beat down for what he has to say, but he couldn't just sit in the back and listen to this. He dug Seth's vibe because he went against the authority. The Shield played a major part in Batista quitting, which is cause enough for celebration for him. But what Seth did was far worst than what the Shield did to anyone else. Seth is nothing but a traitor. He did the worst thing he could ever do. He sold out.

Seth whispers in Triple H's ear. Triple H says that Dolph has a fair point. It's something that Dolph has never done. He sold out arenas night after night. Whether or not Ziggler knows it, he's like Nostradamus. He is going to get a beating, because he's going to face Seth Rollins next.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins

They lock up, and Seth backs Ziggler to the corner. The ref breaks them up, and Seth elbows Ziggler in the head. He hits Ziggler with body strikes. He rakes Ziggler's face near the ropes. Seth kicks Ziggler in the corner. Ziggler reverses with right hands to the head. He charges, and Seth puts his leg up. Seth hits a body slam. He drops a knee on Ziggler's head. Seth pulls Ziggler's head back by his hair. Ziggler comes back with a crossbody and more right hands to the head. He hits Seth with a dropkick, and clotheslines him outside.

Ziggler taunts Seth to get back in the ring, and Seth talks to Triple H briefly. Seth gets back inside. He kicks Ziggler in the stomach and hits several headshots. Seth snapmares Ziggler and kicks him in the back. He locks in Ziggler's head from behind. Ziggler breaks free and locks in a sleeper. Seth drops to the mat, breaking the hold. Ziggler rolls to the apron. Seth kicks him to the floor as things go to commercial.

Back from commercial and Ziggler hits several stomach shots, but Seth trips him into the middle turnbuckle. Triple H and JBL talk about how great Seth is on the outside. Seth charges Ziggler in the ring, and Ziggler hits a back elbow. Seth charges again, and Ziggler puts his boot up. Ziggler hits a big DDT. They trade strikes. Ziggler hits a leaping clothesline. He jumps on Rollins in the corner and hits multiple mounted punches to the head. Ziggler hits a neckbreaker and drops an elbow.

Rollins rolls outside. Ziggler follows and hits a dropkick. Ziggler sends Seth back inside. He tries for the famouser, but Seth counters out. Ziggler tries again, and successfully hits the famouser. Ziggler gets a near pin fall. Ziggler tries to keep the attack up, but Seth kicks him in the head from the apron. Seth goes up top. Ziggler leaps up and plants Seth face first on the mat. Ziggler tries for the Zig Zag, but Seth shoves him off. Ziggler tries again, and Seth nails an enziguri. Seth hits multiple punches to the face and knees to the back. Seth tosses Ziggler back first into the turnbuckle, and then hits the curb stomp for the win.

Winner: Seth Rollins

Then, Renee Young is backstage with Bad News Barrett. She asks for his thoughts on his upcoming title defense against Cesaro and RVD. Barrett says it's not fair. He's already beaten RVD, and Cesaro interfered in his match on Main Event. He says that both men are not in his league. Tonight, he's afraid he has some bad news. There's only going to be one winner: Bad News Barrett.

Back from commercial, and Seth Rollins is walking backstage with Triple H and Randy Orton. Big Show approaches. He says that Ziggler was right about Seth. He gave up on his brother. He says he wishes Seth would try what he did to Ziggler on him. It wouldn't end up the same. Triple H starts laughing, and Show asks if something is funny. Triple H says yeah, and asks if he wants action tonight. Tonight, he is going to get in the ring with Randy Orton.

Then, the Usos make their entrance.

The Usos vs. Rybaxel

Ryback and Jey start off. Jey hits a Superkick. He tries to follow up, but gets tossed outside by Ryback. Curtis tags in. He leaps off the apron and clotheslines Jey. Ryback tags in, and Rybaxel double-team Jey. Axel tags back in. He elbows Jey and steps on him. Ryback tags in and goes up top. He falls on Jey and gets a two count. Ryback locks in Jey's head from behind. He clubs Jey in the chest, and locks his head back in. Jey fights free, but Ryback hits a spine buster. Jimmy breaks up a pin attempt by Ryback. Axel tags in.

He charges, but Jey puts his elbow up. Jey kicks Ryback out of the ring to the floor. Axel knees Jey in the head off the distraction. He knocks Jimmy off the apron and goes up top. Axel leaps at Jey. Jey hits a Superkick in mid air. Jimmy tags in and hits the Superfly splash for the win.

Winners: The Usos

Back from commercial and Rusev makes his entrance.

Rusev vs. Xavier Woods

Rusev immediately attacks Xavier in the corner. He kicks Xavier in the face. Rusev locks in the Accolade, and Xavier taps.

Winner: Rusev

Rusev finally breaks the hold, and Lana puts his medal on him.

Back from commercial and RVD makes his entrance.

Triple Threat Intercontinental Championship Match
Bad News Barrett (c) vs. RVD vs. Cesaro

Barrett and RVD team up on Cesaro. They kick and strike him in the corner. RVD goes for a pin on Barrett. Barrett kicks out and battles back RVD. Cesaro attacks Barrett from behind. RVD sends Cesaro into Barrett in the corner. RVD monkey flips Cesaro. RVD attacks Barrett, and then hits both him and Cesaro with Rolling Thunder. RVD tries to pin both of them. RVD whips Barrett into the corner. Cesaro tosses RVD out of the ring and kicks Barrett in the corner.

Barrett hits Cesaro with a mule kick. He tosses Cesaro into the corner and clubs his back. RVD gets in the ring and kicks Barrett. He hits Cesaro outside, and then hits Barrett with a split legged moonsault. RVD goes for the pin on Barrett, and Cesaro pulls him outside as things head to commercial.

Back from commercial and Barrett has RVD's head locked in from behind. RVD gets free and kicks Barrett in the head. RVD hits Cesaro outside. Barrett charges, and RVD pulls the ropes down. Barrett flies outside. RVD charges towards the ropes, and Cesaro uppercuts him. Barrett knees Cesaro in the stomach. Cesaro tosses Barrett into the barrier. He drops Barrett across the barrier. RVD takes Cesaro out with a moonsault from the apron. He gets up on the apron and leaps off, dropping a leg on Barrett, who is still draped over the barrier.

Barrett rolls inside the ring. RVD gets back inside and drops a leg. Cesaro breaks up a pin attempt, and hits Cesaro with a Gutwrench suplex. Cesaro tries to capitalize, but RVD goes for a pin. Cesaro kicks out, and Barrett hits RVD with winds of change. Barrett goes for a pin, and Cesaro breaks it up. Cesaro headbutts Barrett and hits an uppercut. Cesaro hits RVD with a German suplex. RVD kicks out of a pin attempt, and rolls outside. Cesaro slams Barrett's head into the turnbuckle and goes up top. He tries for his deadlift superplex, but Barrett drops to the floor and snaps Cesaro's head across the top rope. RVD hits Cesaro with the five-star frog splash. Barrett hits RVD with the bullhammer elbow for the win.

Winner: Bad News Barrett

Then, Bray Wyatt appears. He cuts a promo about his defeat at Payback.

Back from commercial, and NXT Takeover is recapped.

Then, Natalya is shown waiting in the ring.

Natalya vs. Alicia Fox

They tie up. Natalya takes Fox to the mat. Fox counters into a head scissors. Natalya fights free. They tie up again, and Natalya shoves Fox to the mat. She hits Fox with a suplex, and Fox rolls to the floor. Fox gets up on the apron and starts screaming. She gets in the ring, and Natalya stares at her like she's crazy. They shake hands, and Natalya slams Fox to the mat. She slaps Fox. Fox tells her to do it again, and Natalya does. Natalya rolls Fox up for a one count. Fox tosses Natalya into the bottom rope.

She chokes Natalya on the bottom rope, and then hits a northern lights suplex. Fox tries to keep up the attack, but Natalya counters into a sharpshooter attempt. Fox kicks away and tries to attack again, but Natalya counters into another pin for the win.

Winner: Natalya

Fox throws another one of her tantrums after the match and gets in Lillian Garcia's face.

Then, Stephanie McMahon's segment from RAW where she announces the main event for Money in the Bank is shown.

Back from commercial and Santino Marella and Emma come out to the ring.

Santino Marella (with Emma) vs. Bo Dallas

They shake hands before the match and tie up. Bo flips Santino to the mat, and then does a victory lap around the ring. He gets back in the ring, and they shake hands again. Santino hits a pair of arm drags. He gets out of the ring and does his own victory lap. They shake hands again, and Bo hits a pair of clotheslines. He goes for a third, and Santino counters into a pin attempt. Bo strikes Santino in the corner. He clubs Santino in the back of the head, and hits the Bo dog for the win.

Winner: Bo Dallas

Then, Renee Young is backstage with the Big Show. She asks how he feels ahead of his match with Orton. Show calls Orton, Triple H, and Rollins a bunch of bullies. There was a time when he wasn't so big and handsome. Bullies would gang up and pick on him in grade school. Eventually, he found a bully alone and he balled up his fist. Tonight, when he gets Orton in the ring, he is going to ball up his fist and let it fly. We'll see what happens to the viper when he gets KOed by a giant.

Back from commercial and Orton is backstage with Byron Saxton. He asks about his match with Big Show. Orton says that under normal circumstance he wouldn't be enthusiastic about facing a giant, but Show stuck his nose where it didn't belong. Anything can happen in the ring, even the unexpected. Just ask Ambrose and Reigns.

Then, the Big Show makes his entrance.

Big Show vs. Randy Orton

Orton kicks Show. Show takes Orton to the corner and slaps his chest. Orton rolls out of the ring. He gets back inside and kicks Show. Show backs Orton to the corner. Orton battles out with strikes. He rams into Show in the corner twice. Orton charges Show for a third time, and Show puts his boot up. Orton catches Show's boot on his shoulder, and drops down. Show comes back with an elbow. Orton goes back outside as things go to commercial.

Back from commercial and Orton drops a knee on Show's head. He locks in Show's head. Show fights out, but Orton clubs him in the back and locks his head back in. Show gets free. He clotheslines Orton several times. He charges Orton, and Orton hits a dropkick. He stomps on Show, who is on the apron. Orton kicks Show in the head, and hits his draping DDT.

Orton signals for the RKO. He goes for it, but Show counters into a spear. Show signals for the knockout punch. Triple H gets up on the apron, and Show grabs him by the throat. Orton charges Show, and he grabs him by the throat too. Seth Rollins appears out of nowhere and hits Show with a knee to the head.

Winner via DQ: Big Show

Rollins hits Show with an RKO. Triple H brings a chair into the ring. Seth sets it up under Show's head, and then hits the curb stomp. Seth then hits a second curb stomp.
