Former WCW Star Arrested (Mugshot), DDP Visits Patients, WWE In Erie And Fort Wayne

- Diamond Dallas Page recently paid a visit to "A Forever Recovery", a rehabilitation center in Battle Creek, Michigan. Page has had plenty of experience with addiction despite never succumbing to it himself. He took those experiences and packaged them into a 45-minute speech to a room full of current AFR patients.

"At first I thought, what could he really give to the patients?" said Pamela Anderson, Executive Director at AFR. "But after he started speaking, I kind of feel like his best message was that he was a wrestler later in life and he was successful and even though others wanted him to quit, he persevered, and his real message to the patients, I felt, was that if you put your mind to something you can do anything you want and you can be successful. He's being that person to help others now and through his own physical problems, he's really helped himself, he's gotten his life back together and he's encouraging others to do the same."

After his talk, Page took photos with his WCW Championship belt and patients at an outdoor spot at AFR on a private lake.

"I would never have known that 90-percent of them were in any kind of rehab clinic," said Page. "It was just regular people to me. I thought overall the people were really cool to me, but then again, I'm Diamond Dallas Page, too, I wasn't just some speaker in there. A lot of them knew who I was. I think that helps a little bit when they grow up with you or they know their brother did and their dad did ? whatever. Everybody was very nice and thanked me for coming. I would say about 20-percent were genuinely saying, 'Thank you so much for coming, I really enjoyed your talk.'"
