Ric Flair Jokes On John Cena's World Title Reigns, Cena Appears Without His Belts, SmackDown

- Ric Flair made a surprise appearance at last night's WWE live event in Wildwood, New Jersey. Flair cut a promo and joked that John Cena better not even think about breaking his record 16 World Title reigns. He then introduced his daughter NXT Women's Champion Charlotte and her partner Sasha Banks, who lost to Nikki Bella and Natalya.

- Speaking of Cena and last night's live event in Wildwood, he teamed with Chris Jericho to defeat Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton in the main event but it's worth noting that he was not announced as WWE World Heavyweight Champion and did not come out with his title belts. During the match, a crew member brought Cena's titles to ringside and when the match was over, ring announcer Byron Saxton announced him as champion.

- Friday's episode of WWE SmackDown scored a 1.78 rating, up from the 1.37 rating on the 4th of July. As noted, Friday's show drew 2.54 million viewers, also up from the holiday episode.
