- According to a report by Forbes, UFC welterweight contender Robbie Lawler has signed an endorsement deal with Adidas. Lawler is scheduled to face Johny Hendricks for the welterweight title. Hendricks is sponsored by Reebok, which operates under the Adidas AG umbrella.

"We are honored to announce the signing of Robbie Lawler to our global combat sports team, and to have the opportunity to work with him," said Scott Viscomi, managing director of Adidas Combat Sports USA. "Robbie is an outstanding athlete and individual who we have the utmost respect for. He is one of the most exciting athletes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship and his fights never fail to excite the crowd.

Lawler was not allowed to wear any Reebok clothing or have the logo on his poster this past weekend when he defeated Matt Brown to become the No. 1 contender.

- The UFC will invade Phoenix for UFC on FOX 13 this December. The card, confirmed by Dana White after the latest FOX event, will take place December 13. It marks the first time the Octagon has made a stop in Arizona.

With it still several months away, there are no fights to report for the card, which will be held inside the U.S. Airways Center. One rumored bout, though, is Frankie Edgar vs. Cub Swanson. That would likely be a No. 1 contender match in the featherweight division.
