Now, thanks to the UFC's vast library, you can see Bader's performance against Jackson, a former light heavyweight champion, in the video above.
- Nick Diaz has signed on for what he believes is the biggest fight out there right now: Anderson Silva. Diaz,a former Strikeforce champion, will return to the Octagon in 2015 against Silva at UFC 183. Both will be fighting for the first time in well over a year.
Diaz announced his self-imposed retirement following a decision loss to Georges St-Pierre for the UFC welterweight title. In a conference call today, via UFC.com, he cleared up what he meant by "retirement."
"I didn't really mean to make the statement that I was retired," Diaz said. "You don't really retire from martial arts. What I meant to say was that I wasn't going to take a fight that I wasn't happy with. I needed to take some time off."
In returning to face Silva, a former UFC middleweight champion, Diaz gets what he desired. "The Spider" was on top most pound-for-pound rankings until he dropped back-to-back fights to Chris Weidman. He suffered a broken leg in a December loss to Weidman.
"I was looking for the biggest fight I could get myself into," he said. "That's what I've done since I was 18 years old and I got into the UFC."
- Luke Rockhold believes a championship match could open up this December for him to accept. Rockhold, in an interview with MMAjunkie.com, explained that he doesn't see Vitor Belfort making it all the way to the end of the year and a title fight with Chris Weidman.
"I just don't think Vitor is going to make it to the fight," he said. "So I'm going to be ready."
Rockhold is a former Strikeforce middleweight champion and has rebounded from a loss to Belfort by finishing Costas Philippou and submitting Tim Boetsch. He does not have a future fight lined up at the moment. Belfort must pass all drug tests given to him by the Nevada Athletic Commission to gain his full fight license.
"If he's clean and healthy, he'll probably get injured," Rockhold said. "His body will fall apart. It's too frail. I just think that someway or another, he's going to fall out. I'm just going to be ready."
