WWE Releases Developmental Wrestler Again

WWE has again released NXT talent Garrett Dylan (real name Jody Kristofferson). He confirmed the news on his Twitter account (and changed his Twitter handle from @WWEGarrettDylan).

His profile was also removed from WWE.com.

This is the second time in a year in which the son of country musician Kris Kristofferson has been let go by the sports-entertainment organization. He was released last August and brought back early in the year. He had infrequently appeared as one of Adam Rose's "Rosebuds" as Captain Comic, including in a wrestling capacity.

WWE revealed plans on Thursday to slash 7% of its workforce in an effort to save cash. A WWE spokesman told CNN Money the job cuts would impact all business units and locations.
