WWE Superstars Recap W/ Video: Del Rio Vs. Gabriel, Slater And O'Neil Vs. Ryder And Sin Cara

Superstars opens with Alberto Del Rio making his entrance. Renee Young and Tom Phillips are on commentary.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Justin Gabriel

Del Rio takes Gabriel to the corner. He kicks Gabriel in the mid section and headbutts him. Gabriel counters with a kick to the head. Del Rio rolls to the apron, and Gabriel suplexes him inside. Del Rio rolls outside. Gabriel runs to the ropes to take out Del Rio, but Del Rio moves and hits a clothesline. He sends Gabriel back inside and locks in his head from behind. Del Rio lands a back suplex. Gabriel battles back with strikes. Del Rio hits an enziguri in the corner. He pulls Gabriel's head back.

Del Rio clubs Gabriel in the back. Gabriel hits several kicks and chops. He sweep kicks Del Rio and kicks him in the head for a two count. Del Rio hits a back breaker. He charges Gabriel, and Gabriel puts his elbow up. Gabriel goes up top. Del Rio hits him. He climbs up and plants Gabriel on the mat, accidentally suffering a cut above the eye in the process. Del Rio signals for the cross arm breaker. He locks it in, and Gabriel taps.

Winner: Alberto Del Rio

The replay suggests Del Rio suffered the cut above his eye when Gabriel elbowed him as he charged, not during the top rope spot.

Back from commercial and the segment between John Cena and Paul Heyman from RAW, followed by Cesaro vs. Cena, is shown. Then, Alberto Del Rio is shown getting seven stitches in the back. Next, Heath Slater is shown approaching Titus O'Neil in the back earlier in the day. He talks about how he's excited about their team. Titus says they're not a team and that he doesn't like Slater. Slater says that Titus is using reverse psychology. He talks about how great they are, and then leaves to go get ready. Titus smacks him with his jacket, and Slater says it was a love tap. Titus yells that they're not a team as Slater leaves.

Then, the events between Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, and Kane on RAW are shown. Afterwards, Zack Ryder and Sin Cara are shown waiting in the ring.

Zack Ryder and Sin Cara vs. Heath Slater and Titus O'Neil

Cara and Slater start off. Slater hits a shoulder tackle. Cara tosses Slater through the air with his feet. Ryder tags in and dropkicks Slater. Slater backs Ryder to his corner. Titus tags in. He tosses Ryder into the corner and slaps his chest. He picks Ryder up and slaps his chest again. Ryder reverses and hits several strikes. He kicks Titus and clotheslines him out of the ring. Slater charges Ryder, and Cara pulls the ropes down. Slater spills outside. Cara and Ryder charge toward the ropes. Ryder takes out Titus with a kick through the ropes, and Cara dives at Slater.

Back from commercial and Titus has Ryder's head and arm locked in. Ryder fights free and leaps at Titus. Titus catches him and tosses him over his head, but Ryder lands on his feet and hits a dropkick. Cara and Slater tag in. Cara hits a clothesline and a crossbody. Cara lands a springboard back elbow. He knees Slater. Slater comes back with a kick to the face. Titus tags in and attacks Cara. He clubs Cara in the chest and he falls out of the ring. Titus follows and sends Cara back inside. He locks in Cara's arm and head. Titus clubs Cara in the back.

Titus picks Cara up on his shoulder and drops to a knee. Slater tags in. He kicks Cara in the mid section and drives his knee into Cara's throat. Slater knees Cara in the chest and tags in Titus. Titus charges Cara in the corner, and Cara puts his boots up. Ryder tags in. He strikes Titus several times. He knees Titus in the face and hits a missile dropkick. Ryder hits the Broski boot. Slater breaks up the pin attempt. Cara tries to attack Slater, but Slater sends him out of the ring. Ryder hits Slater with the rough Ryder, and turns around to Titus, who hits clash of the Titus for the win.

Winners: Heath Slater and Titus O'Neil

Back from commercial and the events between Stephanie McMahon and Brie Bella that led to Stephanie being arrested on RAW and their match at SummerSlam are recapped to end the show.
