Details On AAA Taping Their New Wrestling TV Series In LA, Former WWE Writer Involved

Source: PWInsider

Mexico's AAA promotion will begin taping their new series on the El Rey Network in late August from Los Angeles. The original date scheduled was August 24th but that may be pushed back a few days. The first season that airs this fall on El Rey is scheduled for eight episodes.

Former NJPW and ROH star Ricky Reyes has signed on for the series and word is that several former WWE stars have signed or are in the process of finalizing their deals.

Some of the pitches for the series have been really "far out" compared to traditional wrestling TV shows. Former WWE creative writer Chris "Big Dick Johnson" DeJoseph is one of the producers.
