Result: Rusev beats Big E via submission
The guys in the truck roll a recap of Jericho's feud with the Wyatts and Jericho follows with a promo in which he guarantees victory at SummerSlam.
More recaps will follow after some words from the sponsors…
Commercials don't end when the show resumes, folks! Cole and JBL announce that the UK gets the WWE Network on October 1 and SummerSlam is also coming shortly for the incredible value of just $9.99. Think that's old news? The Brie/Steph recap is brought to us by WWE Magazine and the WWE Magazine app, which seems kinda weird given that the 'E seems to have put that endeavor out to pasture.
After the recap, we get a glimpse of AMbrose heading out to the ring and a promotional package for WrestleMania XXX airing on network television.
Orton takes his time walking out to the ring and after a few verses and choruses of his entrance music, he's finally ready to get busy with Ambrose. Ambrose comes out swinging and backs Orton into a corner, landing a tempest of jabs before Orton steps out to gather his wits. Back in the ring, Orton again falls victim to Ambrose who works over The Viper on the mat. Ambrose gets a two-count and then gets Orton into what inside types refer to as a "rest hold". Randy flips Ambrose and regains momentum, smashing Dean into a corner as the ref counts to four. Ambrose gets back into the fight quickly, though, dumping Orton out of the ring and then diving on to him as WWE takes a short breather for some commercials.
Orton gets the upper hand after the break and works over Ambrose with that time-tested combo of "stomp-grapple-stomp." Ambrose's resistance seems lacking until he stops Orton cold with a face-first DDT. Once both guys reach a vertical base again, Ambrose pummels Orton with strikes all around the ring. He gets Orton out on the floor again but this time Orton anticipates the dive and plasters Ambrose. Ambrose falls outside and Orton bounces him all over the ringside area before hoisting him on to the apron for a DDT. Ambrose counters, tosses Orton on to the floor and connects with a suicide dive. They make it back into the ring and Ambrose hits "Dirty Deeds" but Rollins interferes and ends what had been a rather entertaining bout. Ambrose and Rollins brawl outside and then back into the ring. Ambrose gets Rollins into a "ground and pound" situation until Orton breaks it up and both foes take apart Ambrose in grand fashion. Rollins grabs a drink from a fan and pours it on Ambrose who is laid out in the middle of the ring. After some gloating, Rollins hits the curb stomp on Dean and the show fades to black.
Result: Dean Ambrose defeats Randy Orton via DQ after Seth Rollins interferes.
That's it, folks! Smoke 'em if you've got 'em! Tell your friends, coworkers and second cousins, once removed that WrestlingINC.com is the place to be on Friday nights!
