Renan Barao Out Of Tomorrow's UFC Main Event, Replacement Named, UFC 177 Weigh-In Results

- Former UFC bantamweight champion Renan Barao was forced to withdraw from a planned main event fight Saturday vs. T.J. Dillashaw for the title after suffering an injury while cutting weight. Joe Soto, who was set to make his UFC debut on the prelims, was moved to the UFC 177 headline bout.

Barao, who cuts a tremendous amount of weight in the days leading up to the fight, suffered a fall when he lost consciousness in his hotel bathtub and hit his head. He was not allowed to continue cutting weight or fight by medical officials.

It was the second fight removed from the card on Friday, as a match between Henry Cejudo and Scott Jorgensen was also taken off the lineup after Cejudo had issues cutting weight.

- Despite the changes in the fight card, UFC 177 continued on with weigh-ins Friday night. The new main event, featuring bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw and former Bellator champion Joe Soto, will take place on pay-per-view from the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California.

Renan Barao was forced out of the headline fight after suffering a fall while cutting weight. Soto was originally set to meet Anthony Birchak on the prelims.
