During his MMA career, Koppenhaver went 14-5. He spent a year in prison for a previous assault charge that was brought up against him.

- Former UFC fighter Thiago Silva has escaped any further punishment for his involvement in an alleged assault earlier this year. Silva, who faced two counts of aggravated assault, saw the charges disappear from a Florida judge.

"All charges against Thiago Silva were dropped," Broward County State Attorney's Office spokeswoman Kim Fontana told TMZ Sports recently. "The victim was uncooperative and investigators determined that she likely has moved out of the country."
