Rashad Evans Calls Out Top Contender, Backstage UFC 178 Confrontation (Video), Conor McGregor

- UFC cameras caught the backstage confrontation at UFC 178 between middleweights Tim Kennedy and Yoel Romero. The reason for the ordeal was Kennedy's issue with Romero being allowed extra time to recover after the second round.

Romero went on to finish Kennedy early in the third, earning another UFC victory. Check out the video above to see what went down behind-the-scenes.

- Rashad Evans has set his sights on Alexander Gustafsson, targeting a 2015 fight with the No. 1 contender. Gustafsson was originally set to meet Anthony Johnson, but he has been suspended for possible domestic violence charges. Evans is a teammate of Johnson's in Florida at the Blackzilians camp.

"I've been impressed with how his development has gone," said Evans, during a recent appearance on FOX Sports 1 (thanks to MMAjunkie.com for the quotes). "I would definitely like to fight him when I return. Definitely. When I left, I was at the top and Alexander Gustafsson has been getting better with every single fight."

Evans (19-3-1) is a former UFC light heavyweight champion. He is recovering from a knee injury suffered earlier this year that knocked him out of a fight with Daniel Cormier, who meets Jon Jones for the title in January.

- Conor McGregor has supporters in Dana White, Lorenzo Fertitta and Frank Fertitta, the majority owners of the UFC. He also has a big-time fan in Hollywood. Following his recent win over Dustin Poirier, Arnold Schwarzenegger sent a message to "Notorious" congratulating him on the win.
