AAA wrestler Myzteziz, who originally portrayed the Sin Cara character in WWE, said in an interview published Tuesday on MedioTiempo.com, that he was subject to a lot racism behind the scenes in WWE. He said the 'gringos' in WWE could "very racist," with the "bosses" even making racial remarks?he did not specifically indicate whether he was subject to racism from wrestlers in the locker room.

Myzteziz does not cite racism as the reason he didn't succeed in WWE, but feels it created a bad environment for minorities.

Despite the racism he experienced in WWE, he does not rule out a return to the company. He considers wrestling in the United States an honor, and after having gone through the experience, knows what to expect.
