Former WWE Star Suffers Neck Injury, Will Miss Remainder Of NJPW World Tag League Tourney

New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced via their official web page that former WWE Superstar Yoshi Tatsu will not compete in the rest of the promotion's World Tag League tournament. In a tweet posted earlier today, Tatsu elaborated on the injury, stating that tests have revealed that he has broken two bones in his neck. He added that he believes the injury was sustained during a match with AJ Styles for NJPW's November 8 "Power Struggle" show. Video from that match is posted above (Check out the Styles Clash at around 20:13).

In a subsequent tweet, he also indicated that he is in a lot of pain these days and that he cannot sleep, adding that this is the first time in his life that he has needed to be hospitalized.

NJPW has indicated that changes to the tournament card are forthcoming.
