Jimmy Hart Talks About How The Portrayal Of Gays Has Changed In WWE

The Huffington Post recently interviewed WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Hart, who was promoting WrestleMania 31.

"We've been around the locker room and people coming out," Hart said. "What's so funny, outside, everybody makes such a big to-do of it, but inside, we're just brothers and sisters, having a great time, and everybody just overlooks those things and goes about their business."

Hart discussed managing the late Adrian Adonis, and noted that his over-the-top character wouldn't fit in today's wrestling environment.

"Now if they did a character like that, I don't think it would be so flamboyant," Hart admitted. "Times have changed, and people see things different nowadays. The program, Vince [McMahon] and the WWE have been sensitive over certain matters. You can still draw tons and tons of money that way. People can still have fun and not hurt others."
