Jon Jones Offended By UFC Promo, Tito Ortiz Approached For UFC Lawsuit, UFN Weigh In Results

- UFC fighter Jon Jones has attempted to maintain a wholesome image as UFC Light Heavyweight champion since winning the title in 2011. Unfortunately for him, the UFC exposed the facade, and he's not happy about it.

The UFC ran a promo featuring footage Jones didn't know would be used. During the clip, Jones instigated arguments with challenger Daniel Cormier, in addition to using expletives.

"At first I was a little offended that the UFC would post something like that," Jones said. "I don't think it's healthy for the general public to see the UFC champion say they're going to kill someone. I don't think it's really in my best interest. But it's in the UFC's best interest. So I kind of had to swallow my pride. I said it."

Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier will square off in one of the biggest fights in MMA history on January 3 at UFC 182. We'll have full live coverage of the show here at Wrestling Inc.

- UFC Hall of Famer and current Bellator fighter Tito Ortiz was approached to be a part of the new class-action lawsuit against the UFC, but turned it down.

"Yes, (he was approached)," Ortiz's longtime lawyer George Prajin told MMA Junkie "He felt that it was just best to not be a part of that suit."

Ortiz has had a highly publicized and long running feud with UFC President Dana White.

- The UFC Fight Night 58 weigh-ins are complete and all 24 fighters have made weight and are ready to compete tomorrow. Patrick Cummins needed extra time to make the 206 pound weight limit, but reached that goal.
