WWE NXT Superstars Advance In Tournament, Contract Signing Next Week, NXT Tag Team Titles

- Finn Balor defeated Curtis Axel and Hideo Itami defeated Tyler Breeze on this week's WWE NXT to advance in the #1 contenders tournament. The final two First Round matches will take place next week – Tyson Kidd vs. Adrian Neville and Bull Dempsey vs. Baron Corbin.

- In a correction from earlier, Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy vs. The Vaudevillians on this week's NXT was not a #1 contenders match. However, Blake and Murphy issued a challenge to NXT Tag Team Champions Sin Cara and Kalisto after this week's win over The Vaudevillians. Kalisto and Cara accepted the challenge, and will defend their titles next week.

- Also announced for next week's NXT is a Takeover contract signing between Kevin Owens and NXT Champion Sami Zayn.
