Dana White Didn't Love UFC 185 Fight, CM Punk Talks WWE Stars In MMA, UFC 185 Bonuses

Despite former UFC Welterweight Champion Johny Hendricks being dominant in his UFC 185 win over #5-ranked Matt Brown, he failed to impress UFC President Dana White. White seemed unsure of the bout sealing a championship fight for Hendricks.

"I'm happy for Johny. He's come off of a rough couple of years. I don't love the fight," Dana White said, speaking to Fox Sports 1. "I'm not making fights tonight."

It was previously thought that Hendricks would earn a title shot with a big win at UFC 185.

- CM Punk spoke at a UFC media event recently and spoke about pro wrestlers making the jump to UFC. Thanks to the Toronto Sun for the transcription.

I think the Undertaker said it, I think there's tons of guys who, if the money had been different in the '90s or whatever, they would have done," said Punk. "There's a lot of guys in wrestling who have this MMA fantasy and they never act on it. I don't want to be one of those people who sits there and says 'I would have done that' or "I should have done that.' I can, so I'm doing it."

Punk also spoke out about the possibility of Brock Lesnar returning to the UFC

"I've talked to him once, he lives in the middle of nowhere where there's no cell service, he's in the middle of like, Saskatchewan, I don't even know," Punk said. "I asked him what the hardest thing for him to do was, because obviously he's a freak athlete but something had to be difficult, and I find it's the exact same thing I'm having difficulty with, which is learning to let go. I'll find I'm too light on guys."

- Both new champions in Rafael dos Anjos and Joanna Jedrzejczyk took home $50,000 performance bonuses after dominating their opponents at UFC 185. The prelim card was also full of exciting finishes, and while there was no "Fight of the Night" announced, Ross Pearson and Beneil Dariush got performance bonuses of $50,000 for their impressive victories.
