Charlotte On Improving In The Ring, Her Father, Wanting To Main Event A PPV On The Main Roster

NXT star Charlotte appeared on Between the Ropes for Sporting News to talk about a variety of subjects. You can see the highlights below of the full video above:

* Charlotte says that Triple H has always been hands on at NXT.

* She says she's noticed gradual and significant improvement over the past year. She thinks that the female performances on the specials led to them getting more time.

* Charlotte says she was scared before her match against Natalya. It was her first chance to show people she was worthy of her shot. She was also afraid Bret Hart and Ric Flair would overshadow them.

* Natalya has been her biggest supporter.

* Charlotte said she started two and a half years ago and has had less than 100 matches. She calls herself a complete product of NXT.

* She says even though her dad was a wrestler, she didn't pay attention to what he did in the ring. She credits Sara Del Ray for helping her the most.

* Charlotte says for the first year she barely talked to her dad about wrestling, because she just wanted to be able to get through a match.

* Charlotte doesn't look at her Raw match negatively, she looks at it as Natalya evening up the series at 1-1. She doesn't have a problem because her dad never won.

* She wanted people to ask more about NXT than her after her appearance on Raw. She said it was more of an appearance than a debut.

* Charlotte wants 20 minute matches and she wants to main event a pay-per-view.

* Charlotte says the women at NXT right now created opportunities for themselves in NXT and can when they make the eye roster, too.

* Charlotte says that NXT is made up of indy wrestlers, cheerleaders, and fitness models. It's not just contest winners.

* She says the transition of FCW to NXT has been incredible.

* Charlotte says she was a fan of wrestling growing up, but didn't watch religiously. She always was a fan of her dad, but has been catching up on stuff with the Network.

* She says she traveled a lot with her dad in WCW, but not as much in WWE because she was in school playing sports.

* Charlotte is asked about Ric's retirement. She said it was tough to see him so emotional because he didn't want to retire.

* Charlotte says Ric Flair loves NXT and just likes being around the boys. She said Triple H has him around a lot.

* Charlotte says she has no idea when she'll debut in WWE, but knows it will happen. She wants to make an impact when it happens.

* Charlotte thinks the "Give Divas a Chance" movement was because the NXT women are killing it in developmental.
