GSP Believes In Conor McGregor, Another UFC Drug Test Failure, Big Anniversary For UFC

- This week saw a huge anniversary for the UFC, as Thursday marked ten years since the original Ultimate Fighter Finale. The event saw Stephan Bonnar and eventual TUF winner Forrest Griffin in what is widely considered one of the greatest fights in MMA history.

UFC President Dana White has often credited the show and finale for saving the UFC after it had fell into dire straits financially. The UFC inducted both Forrest Griffin and Stephan Bonnar into their Hall of Fame in 2013. The company ran clips of Griffin and Bonnar reminiscing on Fight Pass throughout the week.

- Former UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre appeared on Chael Sonnen's podcast, You're Welcome, and spoke highly of brash featherweight contender Conor McGregor.

"Conor McGregor, he could be smart or very dumb," GSP said. "But I think Conor McGregor is very skilled. He can back (up) what he says. I think Conor McGregor is trying to play that game, trying to get into his head. Maybe it's going to work, maybe it's not. We'll see what's going to happen", Georges said to Sonnen."

- The Brazilian Athletic Commission announced earlier this week that all UFC Fight Night 62 drug tests came back clean, but due to a communication error, that wasn't correct. Fighter Jorge Oliveira tested positive for the anabolic steroid stanozolol.

Oliveira, who is 0-2 in the UFC, will be suspended one year from the fight, extending to March, 21, 2016. According to MMA Fighting, Oliveira is denying the usage of any illegal substances and will appeal.
