The Rock's Movie Breaks Major Record, Goldberg Throwing First Pitch, WWE Shop Weekend Sale

- Furious 7, which features The Rock, has been doing insane business since releasing 17 days ago. Universal announced yesterday that the movie crossed the $1 billion mark yesterday, making it the fastest that a live-action movie has hit that number. It has grossed $273.7 million in North America and $735.2 million overseas. It is also the only Universal Pictures release to reach that mark during its initial theatrical run.

- A quick reminder that former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Bill Goldberg will be the pre-race host for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Food City 500 this Sunday. Goldberg will also be throwing the first pitch at the Mets game in New York City on May 19th. Music producer and event promoter Louis "Uncle Louie" Gregory will be at the game with Goldberg.
