TNA Stars Get Engaged (Photo), TNA Storylines To Feature Race And Transgender Issues?, EC3

- Above is the new campaign video for the #EC3ForChamp campaign.

- As noted earlier, Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan joined the TNA creative team. FOX News has an article about the signing here, and wrote that the move comes after WWE and NBCUniversal launched the 'For the Hero In All of Us' brand campaign, which "plays up the heroic and charitable works by such wrestlers as Tony Cena [sic]." Corgan talked about taking TNA storylines in new directions, and noted that race and transgender issues were not off the table.

"There is a tremendous opportunity to go into really fresh, new directions," Corgan said. "Having characters who explore race or transgender issues is certainly a possibility.

"There are ways to explore those themes in ways that are productive, create new stars and show that value-based 'babyfaces', no matter what their background, no matter where they come from, can draw new audiences and inspire people in new ways."

- Congratulations to TNA stars Angelina Love and Davey Richards, who announced that they got engaged:
