Goldberg Calls Out UFC Legend, Bill Simmons Fired After WWE Catchphrase?, WWE On Simmons' Firing

- KUSI News recently interviewed former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Bill Goldberg, who was promoting last Friday's GLORY 21 Kickboxing event. Goldberg said that he'd love to fight, and that he was offered a fight last Friday, but he didn't have enough time to prepare. He noted that even though he's 48 years old, he loves to compete.

- Speaking of Goldberg and a potential fighting career, he recently took to Twitter to call out former UFC Middleweight Champion Frank Shamrock. He wrote:

- ESPN's Bill Simmons – who is a longtime WWE fan and appeared on RAW earlier this year – was fired last Friday after a 14-year run with the company. USA Today's The Big Lead noted that Simmons appeared on The Dan Patrick Show a day earlier, and stated that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell lacked the "testicular fortitude" to release the Wells Report until after he had gauged the public reaction.

"I think it's pathetic," Simmons said. "He has handled so many things so badly ? Roger Goodell ? that it's reached a point now where you have something like this, where it took four months to release the report, and he knew everything that was in it. He knows the results before the report is released to the public, and yet doesn't have the testicular fortitude to do anything until he gauges the public reaction."
