The company announced two big matches for the event, including a huge headliner of ROH World Champion Jay Briscoe taking on ROH World Television Champion Jay Lethal. The fight is being touted as the "Battle of the Belts."

Briscoe is being billed on Ring of Honor TV as being unpinned for over two and a half years, a streak that spans over two ROH Championship reigns. Lethal has held his Television championship for well over a year now, but has been pinned in non-title matches. His 29 title defenses are almost three times that of the next best among TV champions.

Also added to Best In The World is a number 1 contender's match between former ROH World Champions Michael Elgin and Roderick Strong, along with Moose. ROH ran an angle during War of the Worlds where Moose refused to wrestle unless he was granted a world title shot.
