UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman Accuses Vitor Belfort Of Cheating Ahead Of UFC 187 Fight

Ahead of tonight's huge UFC 187 show, controversy is already cooking. Last night at the official weigh-ins, UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman took to the microphone and accused his challenger of cheating, saying that he heard Belfort's testosterone levels were high.

"I left him alone with this whole drug-test thing," Weidman said. "But then we just found out during camp he had a 1200 testosterone score. I'm 10 years younger than him and he's got a way higher testosterone level. This guy is still cheating. I'm gonna make him pay for it tomorrow night."

Belfort, who is fighting for the first time since 2013, was given a random drug test on March 16, according to ESPN's Brett Okamoto. The results of those tests showed that Belfort had a 12 ng/ml level of testosterone, with it falling to 5 ng/ml during his April 28 drug test. Weidman's levels were at 3.7 in both late March and late April.

The two men were originally slated to face each other a year ago, until injuries and the ban of testosterone replacement therapy ended up delaying the fight. Belfort was a well known user of testosterone replacement therapy, a controversial procedure. Weidman later said he would win the fight "Any way I want early," in an interview on Fox Sports 1.
