WWE Elimination Chamber Results: Rollins Vs. Ambrose, New IC Champion Crowned, Owens Vs. Cena

- Renee Young, Corey Graves, Byron Saxton and Booker T are at the panel for the pre-show where they announce that Rusev has been ruled out of tonight's Elimination Chamber match and will be replaced. Booker T says his sources tell him it will be a former world champion.

- New Day is backstage with Kane arguing about them not being able to fit into the chamber pods together. Kane threatens to put them in first, and they say they'll fit.

- The panel discusses the John Cena/Kevin Owens program after seeing a highlight video. They then move on to the Neville/Bo Dallas feud and run down the history of the two in NXT. Corey Graves said it carried over into the performance center.

Zack Ryder vs. Stardust

We get a look back at Zack Ryder challenging for Cena's U.S. Title last week, which was a cool moment in the Nassau Coliseum.

Stardust starts with a headlock and a shouldberblock, but Ryder fires back with a dropkick and a couple of arm drags before he attacks the shoulder. A flapjack and a clothesline set up another dropkick for Ryder.

Back in the ring Stardust kicks Ryder and lands the Rhodes family uppercut. he then locks on a bow and arrow backbreaker, but almost gets pinned out of it. Stardust takes over again and locks on an armbar.

Ryder fights back with a big neckbreaker, but he struggles to get to his feet. When he does, he scores with several strikes before missing a second rope dropkick. He's persistent and hits a dropkick from the apron to the floor.

The ref catches Stardust trying to grab the ropes on the pin and admonishes him. He hits a Side Effect anyway, but ends up eating a Broski Boot. Ryder misses a Rough Ryder and Stardust hits Cross Rhodes, which he has renamed the Queen's Crossbow.

Winner: Stardust via pinfall (Queen's Crossbow)

- Lana is with Tom Phillips for a Q&A. Lana says she doesn't wish anyone harm and doesn't have any more info on Rusev. Lana says Ziggler is funny and good looking and she has interest in him.

Lana says that she's judged a lot of people in her life, and realized she needed to show more compassion. Lana says she chose to be happy and free.

- Summer Rae is in the ring and welcomes Miz back for MizTV. He's been gone since Raw on April 20. He tells the fans to stop booing Summer Rae. He shows footage of Daniel Bryan vacating the Intercontinental Title.

Daniel Bryan is introduced to a great reaction. The Miz cuts him off and says this has been hard for him since he built Bryan from the ground up on NXT. Bryan says he's not retiring, and he will be back. He also mentions he has a book coming out in July.

Miz asks why Bryan isn't pushing 5 Hour Energy, and why he isn't wearing nice clothes and makeup. Miz tries to sell him an image consultant, but Bryan tells him to shut up. He says he's here to present the Intercontinental Title to the winner. Miz says that normally he'd smack someone who talked to him like that, but he can't because of doctor's orders.

Bryan says he thinks MizTV is boring, and the crowd agrees. Bryan says he has a better idea, and brings out Macho Mandow and AxelMania. The Meta Powers beat Miz down as Daniel Bryan celebrates with them.

- Dean Ambrose is interviewed by Eden. Ambrose says he fully expects for The Authority to plot and scheme to try to make sure that Seth Rollins retains. Roman Reigns shows up and says he's already got the beers and ice ready. He says he'll be in Ambrose's corner tonight.

- JBL is in the ring and explains the rules of the Elimination Chamber as we start the PPV. Saxton picks Barrett, Graves picks the mystery man and Booker picks Sheamus to win.

WWE Tag Team Championship
Elimination Chamber Match
New Day (c) vs. Cesaro & Kidd (w/ Natalya) vs. Lucha Dragons vs. Prime Time Players vs. Ascension vs. Los Matadores (w/ Torito)

Matadores are in a pod, but Torito is on top of it. Also, all three of New Day will be in the match. Lucha Dragons and The Ascension will start out, and no, Natalya is not inside the cage.

12 minutes in to the show we get our first action, as the Dragons hit springboard moonsaults in stereo before double teaming The Ascension. A series of kicks and a slingshot sentons get taunting instead of a pin attempt.

Kalisto gets propelled on top of New Day's pod and they pull his legs in there as Ascension hits an H-Bomb on Sin Cara. Conor and Viktor go up after Kalisto, but get knocked down. Sin Cara goes up and hits a Swanton off of the pod. Kalisto looks hurt up there as Cesaro and Kidd enter the match and attack Cara.

Kidd and Cesaro destroy everyone, and Cesaro jumps to the top rope and hits an uppercut and a Chamberplex on Kalisto. This gets two as Sin Cara breaks it up. Kidd applies a Sharpshooter on Viktor, but his partner breaks it up.

Kalisto is back up top as Sin Cara hits a Rampage powerbomb and Viktor scores a dominator. The Matadores are in and Torito hits a huracanrana off the chamber on Cesaro. Kalisto is now at the very top of the cage and drops down on everyone! Torito tries what Kaliso did, but he's caught. Ascension hit Fall of Man on Diego and eliminate Matadores. A Fall of Man also puts out Lucha Dragons.

The Prime Time Players are in, which means New Day will be in last. PTP dominate and Young hits the Gut Check to eliminate Ascension. Titus powerbombs Cesaro off the ropes while Cesaro hits a gutwrench suplex in a cool Tower of Doom spot. Everyone is down as New Day comes in.

Everyone else in the match hits a quadruple suplex on New Day, then Cesaro & Kidd lock Woods in a chamber. Kofi gets hit with the Airplane dropkick, but Young rolls up Cesaro and pins him! It's down to PTP and New Day, and Xavier Woods is released by Big E.

Titus O'Neil gets his head put through the chains as they beat him down. Young sends Big E face first into a pod in a scary spot and takes out New Day, but everyone is hurting. Titus goes crazy and starts heaving everyone into the chains. Young lands a Gut Check for a 2.9.

Big E hits a belly to belly on the steel to Young, and then Kofi hits Trouble in Paradise on Titus O'Neil. All three members pin him for the win.

Winners: New Day via pinfall (Trouble in Paradise) to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship

- A Money in the Bank promo is shown. They're revealing participants tonight.

- Lana runs into Dolph Ziggler backstage and wishes him luck.

WWE Divas Championship
Nikki Bella (c) vs. Naomi vs. Paige

Paige hits a spear and a couple of superkicks to both opponents before landing a fallaway slam on Naomi for two. She's met with a facebuster by Nikki, but manages to kick out. Nikki clotheslines both in the corner before getting rolled up by Naomi for two.

Naomi boots Paige with her majestic foot, and Paige is late on a spot where Nikki is supposed to kick her. Naomi tosses Nikki out and suplexes Paige before leg dropping her. Nikki pops back up and goes for a Rack Attack, but Naomi lands the Rear View for two.

Naomi hits a hideous reverse huracanrana that almost kills Paige, and only gets two. Nikki hits the Rack attack to end the match.

Winner: Nikki Bella via pinfall (Rack Attack) to retain the WWE Divas Championship

Brie comes out to celebrate with Nikki after the match.

- We see a preview of the upcoming prank show, Swerved.

Champion vs. Champion (Non-Title)
Kevin Owens vs. John Cena

Owens starts with a headlock, as the crowd goes crazy for him. Owens is wrestling in basketball shorts. Owens attacks Cena with right hands before booting him in the face. A big forearm drops Cena, and he's in a world of hurt early on. Lawler brings up the fact that he had a Piledriver match with Owens last year on the indies, which was pretty cool.

Cena lifts Owens for the AA, but Owens gets out and lands a big DDT for a two count. Cena quickly rolls up Owens for two, which just makes Owens angry, and earns Cena a running senton from Owens. Cena strikes back and we get the boo-yay punches. Cena hits a shoulderblock but gets caught in a second one and gets caught with White Noise for two.

Owens does the cannonball in the corner, but Cena comes back and hits his belly to back slam. Owens isn't bothered much by that, as he immediately gets a Pop-Up Powerbomb for two. Owens goes up top, but Cena knocks him off. Owens knocks him off but misses a Marvelocity Moonsault. Cena hits the AA for two!

The two are back to their feet trading punches, but Owens floors Cena with a superkick. Owens goes to do the Five Knuckle Shuffle, but Cena locks him in an STF. When he goes to adjust it, Owens kicks him off and hits an AA on Cena for two!

Cena catches Owens off guard with a tornado DDT, but Owens kicks out. A huge top rope FameAsser gets the same, and Cena got huge air. Owens comes back and scores a package powerbomb, and Cena kicks out of that. These two can't finish each other. Owens screams at Cena to quit and to give up. These two are really going at it.

Out of nowhere, Cena gets a 2.9 from a springboard Stunner. Owens then kills Cena with a super fisherman's buster for two before a Swanton gets two. Cena gets to his feet first and knocks Owens down with a couple of clotheslines. Owens ducks and hits a pop up powerbomb for the win!

Winner: Kevin Owens via pinfall (pop-up powerbomb)

Owens says everyone knows who he is now. He says he's the man who started a fight with John Cena, and the man who finished the fight. He then gives Cena "veteran advice" and tells Cena he needs to go away, because the champ is here.

Bo Dallas vs. Neville

Bo Dallas repeatedly goes after Neville with cheap shots, but Neville keeps kicking Dallas' legs. Dallas rolls outside, which allows Neville to hit a huge moonsault from the top rope outside. Back inside, Neville throws on a chinlock as Bo pleads to him.

Dallas eats some kicks, but ends up covering Neville's face in the apron and pummeling him. A big body block from the now-hefty Bo gets a two count. Neville applies a kravate and drives knees into the chest of Neville.

Dallas charges the corner, but Neville sends him outside and kicks Dallas repeatedly before getting a two on a standing star press. Dallas hits a DDT out of nowhere and gets two, but Neville lands an enziguri and a Red Arrow for the win.

Winner: Neville via pinfall (Red Arrow)

- Ambrose and Reigns are backstage and Triple H shows up. He says Reigns would only be there as a disruption. He says Kane is there in an official capacity, but if Reigns gets involved, Ambrose will be DQ'd.

WWE Intercontinental Championship
Elimination Chamber
Sheamus vs. King Barrett vs. R-Truth vs. Ryback vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Mark Henry

Mark Henry is revealed as Rusev's mystery replacement, and he's put in a pod as Dolph Ziggler and King Barrett kick off the match. Ziggler utilizes his excellent amateur wrestling skills early, but Barrett turns the tides with a vertical suplex. A big kick on the ropes gets a two count before Barrett applies a chinlock. Barrett attacks until R-Truth is released.

Barrett attacks Truth inside the pod before bringing him out of it and tossing him into the chains. Both Ziggler and Truth are down, and Barrett is in control early on. Truth comes back a little, but gets caught with Winds of Change for two. Ziggler also makes an offensive cameo, but gets booted in the grill for his troubles. Mark Henry busts out of his pod early when Barrett sends Ziggler through it, and Ryback comes in a few seconds later.

For some reason Mark Henry breaks up a pin on Ziggler and attacks Barrett. King goes for a Bull Hammer but eats a superkick, snake eyes and Lie Detector and gets pinned by R-Truth. Sheamus can't get out of his pod, and the other three guys team up to beat down Mark Henry, but then Ryback hits Truth with Shellshocked to eliminate him.

As it turns out, Sheamus locked himself in his pod to get an advantage. He comes out and taunts Mark Henry. He escapes a World's Strongest Slam, and Brogue Kicks him to eliminate Henry. Sheamus then slowly works over Dolph Ziggler before hitting a nice suplex slam for a two count. It really seems like they're trying to kill time in there.

Dolph gets a big DDT on Sheamus, followed by a superkick to Ryback. Dolph turns around and gets blasted by Sheamus for the pin, he's eliminated. Sheamus taunts Bryan outside the ring, and walks right in to a big comeback from Ryback. Sheamus rolls outside and tries to gets back to his pod. He hits Ryback with White Noise on the steel, but only gets two. Ryback gets him with Shellshocked and wins.

Winner: Ryback via pinfall (Shellshocked) to become the new Intercontinental Champion

Daniel Bryan gives Ryback the title and leads a chant of "Feed me more."

- The announcers tell us Kevin Owens vs. John Cena II will happen at Money in the Bank. Also, Neville, Reigns, Orton, Kofi, Ziggler, Sheamus are all confirmed for the MITB ladder match.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Seth Rollins (c) (w/ Kane & J&J Security) vs. Dean Ambrose

The two go back and forth, but Ambrose hits an armdrag and locks on an armbar. This causes Rollins to roll out of the ring and talk to J&J Security. Rollins boots Ambrose back inside, but Ambrose regains control and brawls with Rollins all over the ring before flooring the champion with a big chop.

Ambrose gets caught up in a tree of woe when Mercury interferes, and Rollins hits a double foot stomp off the top ropes. Ambrose mounts a little comeback but gets a flatliner to the turnbuckle followed by a Slingblade for a two count. This referee is getting run over by The Authority at every single turn.

A double body block puts both men down, but allows Ambrose to get back into it with a big reverse powerbomb. J&J pull Rollins out, but Ambrose comes out with a suicide dive that sends both he and Rollins flying over the announce table. Back inside Rollins tries to use the ropes to pin Ambrose but gets caught by the ref. Ambrose knocks Noble off the apron into Mercury and barely kicks out of a Rollins superkick to capitalize on the distraction.

Rollins reverses the rebound lariat of Ambrose, but both men end up going over the top rope. Rollins then tosses Ambrose into the guard rail with a running powerbomb for two. A flying knee from Rollins puts him firmly in control for a couple of minutes until Ambrose drills him with a big tornado DDT.

Rollins lands an enziguri, but Ambrose turns him inside out with a rebound lariat. Ambrose hits a big standing elbow drop and takes out all of the Authority with another huge elbow drop to the outside. Rollins pulls the ref in the way and Ambrose hits the ref. Ambrose reverses a Pedigree, hits Dirty Deeds and pins Rollins when another ref comes out. Ambrose is WWE Champion...or not. The original ref says it's by DQ. No title for Ambrose.

Winner: Dean Ambrose via DQ

That was a dusty finish. The Authority jumps Ambrose and takes the belt, but Reigns makes the save for Ambrose and takes everyone out. Ambrose and Reigns escape with the title.
