ROH Live Event Results From Hopkins, MN (7/11): AJ Styles In Triple Threat Main Event, More

Thanks to WrestlingINC.com reader Vince Snyder for sending in these results for last night's ROH live event in Hopkins, MN:

* The Romantic Touch & 'The Outlaw' Kid Phoenix (billed as The Romantic Outlaws) def two local wrestlers on the Pre-Show.

* Mark Briscoe def. Danny Duggan with a Frog Splash. Duggan likes to dress like Mr. Perfect in Minnesota. Briscoe had the crowd applaud Duggan after a solid match.

* War Machine def. Silas Young & Beer City Bruiser with their crazy Sideslam / Top Rope Legdrop, the Fallout, on Bruiser. Rowe laid Bruiser on the top rope at one point and I swear he could've broken the ring.

* ACH def. Dalton Castle with the 450 Splash. Both were awesome here & very over. ACH had hilarious reactions to Pro Wrestling's Peacock.

* Michael Elgin def. Matt Taven in a mostly slow but solid match with the Elgin Bomb. A big highlight of the night was Taven, who got a lot of heat, looking at my side of the crowd and saying "Matt Taven, b—–s." After the match a fan yelled at him & Taven told him "I get paid & you pay for it." Which was great.

* Michael Bennett won a four way over Moose, Will Ferrara, and Cheeseburger by pinning Cheeseburger. Moose was crazy over, but this crowd LOVED Cheeseburger. If every show was here, he'd be World Champ. This match was tons of fun, and you really have to see Maria in person. Damn.

* Adam Cole beat Bobby Fish in a hell of a match. This one was exciting from the get-go with dueling chants that seemed to never end.

* Hometown Girl ODB & Jay Briscoe beat Jay Lethal & Truth Martini, dressed like ABA Undertaker when ODB pinned Martini to a big pop.

* In the clear match of the night, with a lot of "This is Wrestling" and dueling chants, Roderick Strong def. AJ Styles, Kyle O'Reilly when Strong broke O'Reilly's back (not literally) and Styles was on the outside. I'd say these are three of ROH's very best talents, and this match was to die for. AJ Styles got the biggest pop of the night for sure.
