- MMA star King Mo Lawal recently appeared on the Mayweather Boxing Channel and said he believes Jeff Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling is going to combine with TNA. Mo added that he's interested in being Crime Time's manager when they go to GFW. He also commented on not wrestling a match for TNA, "They f–ked up on that, to me it's whatever. I can't control what they do, I was ready. It's whatever, I'm gonna do my independent s–t now."

- MVP's TNA departure did not come as a surprise to many within the company, according to Wrestling Observer Radio. Even before the situation with TNA, Lucha Underground and Hernandez, there had been a lot of talk about MVP not being happy. With The Beat Down Clan being dropped, partner Kenny King teased on Twitter that he also has decisions to make now.
