WWE NXT Recap (7/29): NXT Tag Team Championship Match, Kevin Owens In Action, Samoa Joe, More

Welcome to our WrestlingINC.com Live NXT coverage. Tonight's show features Kevin Owens in action, and an NXT Tag Team Championship match.

Enzo Amore & Big Cass (w/ Carmella) vs. Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder

Typical strong promo from Enzo & Cass. Enzo gets a drop toe hold, then dances, but gets pushed back into the heel corner. Cass gets tagged in and scares off Dawson and Wilder. Enzo gets a quick body press before Cass slams him down on Wilder.

Enzo connects with a huge top rope cross body, but gets tossed into the ring post. Wilder and Dawson work him over with big strikes in the corner, getting a two on a slingshot suplex. Wilder eats ringpost himself when Enzo moves.

Cass gets a hot tag and cleans house by booting Wilder an spin slamming Dawson. Cass gets pushed into the steel stars and Enzo is double teamed. Shadow Machine for the pinfall. Well then.

Winner: Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder via pinfall (Shadow Machine)

- Jason Jordan and Chad Gable are backstage, making fun of other teams in the tag division.

- We see a video package of the Dana Brooke/Charlotte feud.

Baron Corbin vs. Jesse Sorenson

End of Days. Later, Bro.

Winner: Baron Corbin via pinfall (End Of Days)

- Tyler Breeze busts into William Regal's office and says he wants an opponent from anywhere in the world. Regal tells him to be careful what he wishes for.

Jason Jordan & Chad Gable vs. Elias Sampson & Valenzuela

Jordan tosses Valenzuela around, causing Sampson to call out Gable. Gable then flips around and totally destroys Sampson with his amateur wrestling. This was a really impressive spot. He's double teamed by Sampson and Valenzuela, and isolated in the corner. A big body slam from Valenzuela gets two, and Sampson puts Gable in a headlock.

Gable gets a big arm drag and tags to Jordan, who runs wild and belly to belly suplexes Valenzuela, before they hit Grand Amplitude for the win.

Winners: Jason Jordan & Chad Gable via pinfall (Grand Amplitude)

- Dana Brooke cuts a promo and says that she'll beat Charlotte tonight.

- A montage of Bull Dempsey being overweight is shown. He's shown being harassed for being an idiot and unable to do any workouts correctly.

Charlotte vs. Dana Brooke (w/ Emma)

Charlotte hits a big boot right out of the gate, but is tackled by Dana and put in a body scissors. She switches to a bow and arrow lock, but is rolled up for two. Charlotte hits a neckbreaker and a spear, followed by Natural Selection.

Winner: Charlotte via pinfall (Natural Selection)

- Samoa Joe is backstage, and says he's here for the NXT title. He tough talks Rhyno and says his future ends next week.

- We see Kevin Owens apologizing to William Regal for 'accidentally' striking him last week.

Kevin Owens vs. Martin Stone

Owens beats Stone up all around the ring until Stone hits a kick. That offense is short lived, as Owens German suplexes him and hits the cannonball. Swanton and pop-up powerbomb finish it off.

Winner: Kevin Owens via pinfall (pop-up powerbomb)

Owens attacks Stone after the match, then mocks Finn Balor.

NXT Tag Team Championship
Blake & Murphy (c) (w/ Alexa Bliss) vs. The Vaudevillains

Gotch lands a flying armbar and a cradle on Blake, but he tags out to English. A top wristlock has English in a bad way, but he flips out of one by both Murphy and Blake and hits an awesome double arm drag as we go to commercial.

We come back to Blake and Murphy getting tossed out of the ring, but Blake comes right back in and boots English in the face. Blake and Murphy punish English with big forearms in the corner before applying a chinlock. English tries to work out of it, but gets cut off.

Gotch finally gets a hot tag and back body drops Murphy. Bliss holds English's feet and he gets rolled up. Champs retain.

Winners: Blake & Murphy via pinfall to retain the WWE NXT Tag Team Championships

The Vaudevillains hit the Whirling Dervish after the match, and Alexa Bliss is stuck in the ring with them. The Vaudevillains show chivalry and hold the ropes open, but she smacks them.
