Was Phil Baroni Invited By GFW For Ringside Angle?, Chael Sonnen On His First GFW Match, More
- As noted, UFC veteran Phil Baroni apparently jumped the rail at last night's Global Force Wrestling Amped TV tapings in Las Vegas to work an angle with another former MMA star, Chael Sonnen. Earlier in the tapings, Sonnen did a promo demanding a match in GFW and many believed Baroni's appearance was leading to a match with Sonnen.
It's worth noting that reliable MMA and WWE source Front Row Brian, who was at the tapings, tweeted and said he doesn't believe Baroni was invited by GFW and that he "went into business for himself." Baroni started tweeting about going to the GFW tapings and starting trouble early on Friday, but that could still be part of the storyline.
