- Cena also recently weighed in on the "DeflateGate" controversy and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who is currently set to serve a four-game suspension this season. Cena, who is a noted Patriots fan, spoke to SportsCenter ahead of SummerSlam and offered words of encouragement for the four-time SuperBowl Champion.

"Let your accomplishments speak for yourself," Cena advised Brady(props to Indy Star for the transcription). "There is no better argument to any speculation than to go out there and just kick some ass. You are great; you are part of a great organization that prides itself on trying to create a dynasty atmosphere. Stay the course, keep doing well, and years from now we'll just wonder why we spent federal tax dollars investigating deflated footballs."

- Speaking of "DeflateGate," Cleveland Browns left tackle Joe Thomas ripped the NFL's punishment for Brady, telling ESPN that it was like Brady got the death penalty for "driving 66 [mph] in a 65 speed zone." Thomas said that he was glad that Brady was fighting the suspension, and equated NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell To Vince McMahon.

"I'm glad that he's [Brady] fighting [it]," Thomas said. "Because it's good for the game. It's an entertainment business. It's turning into the WWE really. It's like the Vince McMahon stuff. Basically Goodell is like Vince McMahon."
