"From a phone call from Dana White, always," Rousey said. "It's like getting called to the principal's office. He asks me and I'm always 'Yes.' I'm ready to fight any day. They've done so much for me, I'm there for them."

Rousey also talked about facing Holm at Etihad Stadium in Australia, which can hold 56,000 fans.

"I thought – that's as big as a whole WrestleMania," Rousey said. "I'll have to sell it all by myself. That's a tall order. It's great that the UFC has confidence we can set the record. It's a testament to how far women's MMA has come. It's going to be great to set the record."

- The UFC also announced that Paige VanZant will face Scottish striker Joanne Calderwood in the main event of a UFC Fight Night event on Thursday, December 10 that will air live on UFC Fight Pass.
