Rashad Evans Returns To The UFC After Two Years, Ronda Rousey Gets Called Out, More

Daniel Cormier and Alexander Gustafsson may have headlined and stolen the show at UFC 192, but they weren't the only important light heavyweight fight on the show. Former champion Rashad Evans returned to the cage, but it wasn't the warm welcome he'd hoped for.

Evans was handled with relative ease by the surging Ryan Bader, who looked the best of his MMA career. Although Evans looked in the best physical condition he's ever been in, it wasn't enough to overcome the wrestling and improved striking of Bader. After the bout, Bader said that with Jon Jones back in the fold, he'd love to avenge his loss to Glover Teixeira.

Another big fight on the show was Ultimate Fighter winner Julianna Pena defeating #6-ranked Jessica Eye via unanimous decision. The real story of this fight was Pena calling out UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey, who also participated in The Ultimate Fighter 18, but as the opposing team's coach.

"I'm 6-0 in the UFC and so is Ronda Rousey," Pena said. "Dana White calls her the Mike Tyson of MMA — well I'm Evander Holyfield. I'll be your huckleberry."

Elsewhere on the card, #4-women's strawweight Rose Namajunas scored an impressive standing rear-naked choke victory over Angela Hill. #1-ranked Flyweight Joseph Benavidez defeated fellow former title challenger Ali Bagautinov via unanimous decision, and highly touted prospect Sage Northcutt dominated Francisco Trevino.
