During the show, Cesaro said that he used to ride with the Shield until the group disbanded. After that, Cesaro would ride with Seth Rollins while Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns began riding with Bo Dallas. After a show in New Mexico one night, Cesaro and Rollins noticed Ambrose, Reigns, and Dallas stopped at the side of a road.
"We're the last ones to leave and whatever, so, we start driving on this long street and there is one red light. So we come approaching and there [are] two cars on the side stopped. We look over. Those guys were out of gas," Cesaro said. "I just looked at Seth, I was like, 'I guess you were the architect, right?'"
In response, Ambrose stated, "Bo is not a good replacement architect." Also, during the show, Ambrose said he does not let Dallas drive as well.
According to Ambrose, the Shield shared one hotel room for the first year that they were on the main roster.
"When we first started on the road, too, we'd all three stay in one room, trying to be as cheap as possible because we are all used to just scraping by, so we don't want to spend any extra money." Ambrose continued, "and then after a while we started realizing, 'you know, we're doing pretty well. We don't have to keep doing this.' It was like a big revelation after a year. 'Why are we still cramming three people into one hotel room? We're kind of doing okay enough that we can afford our own rooms.'"
In addition to talking about life on the road, Ambrose, Cesaro, and Owens shared stories about coming up through the indies, the FCW street team, and much more.
