As noted, John Cena appeared on NBC's Today to promote Sisters, in which Cena plays a drug dealer named Pazuzu. Above is another clip from the appearance, where Cena talks about Republican Presidential candidate frontrunner / WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump's recent controversial statements about banning Muslims from entering the U.S. If the video does not work, you can watch it here.

"We know Donald Trump, he's bold, he's brash," Cena said. "This is bold and this is brash. I'm with you, I don't know how it works out. The last time we did anything like it is in World War II, and that was one of the more reprehensible acts by the United States of America.

"[Quoting Trump] 'We are the melting pot, except for you [Muslims]', that does not go along with our DNA. Trump is being Trump. There's no other way to say it."
