- The first-ever match between AJ Styles and Rey Mysterio took place this week in the U.K. for 5 Star Wrestling. Wrestling Inc. reader CharlieB sent us these details:
The finish came after Rey hit the 619 and went to the top rope for the top rope seated senton. AJ caught him and reversed it into the Styles Clash [for the win]. The two shook hands before and after the match. AJ acted somewhat heelish in the match. AJ gave a funny promo after in which he said Rey was probably going to "kick him the privates."
- The Hardy Boys will be appearing at MCW's Xtreme Anniversary show next Saturday, January 23 at the MCW Arena, 1000 Joppa Farm RD in Joppa, MD. They will meet with fans before the show. At the event, Matt Hardy (w/ Jeff Hardy in his corner) will face MCW champion King McBride (w/ Ken Dixon.
