Bayley Optimistic About Going To WWE's Main Roster, Jerry Lawler On If Wrestling Is Better Now

WWE NXT Women's Champion Bayley and WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler recently spoke with The Memphis Commercial Appeal to promote upcoming events in Tennessee. The full interview can be found at this link. Below are highlights:

Lawler on wrestling now vs. then:

"When you talk to guys like me, who were around during that old school era, and actually lived and worked through the change, usually most of the guys have mixed emotions about it. Most of them would say it's better the old way. But you can't argue with success."

Bayley on going to WWE's main roster:

"It's very hard to go from NXT to the main roster because obviously not everybody watches NXT. You have to work your way back up again. I'm going to be optimistic."
