ROH TV Recap (2/17): Big Tag Team Upset, Who's After Whitmer? Young Bucks, Mark Briscoe In Action

Welcome to tonight's coverage of ROH TV. This week's show features the continuation of the Top Prospect Tournament, and the Young Bucks in action.

Top Prospect Tournament
Lio Rush vs. Jason Kincaid

Lio Rush starts with an enziguri, but Kincaid hits a nice looking roped clotheslines and a slingshot blockbuster before applying the Gory Special. Kincaid is sent outside where Rush hits a big dive. Kincaid hits an insane Diamond Dust from from the inside to the outside of the ring, and the crowd loves him for it. Rush hits Rush Hour for the win.

Winner: Lio Rush via pinfall (Rush Hour)

Rush and Kincaid shake hands. Both were really impressive.

Silas Young & Beer City Bruiser vs. Caprice Coleman & Will Ferrara

Prince Nana joins commentary, and talks about Ferrara and Coleman being on the same page. Young gets beat down and tags the Bruiser in. Ferrara tried to slam BCB, but the weight is too much to handle. Ferrara gets suplexed by BCB, then Young follows up with a Lionsault, then a BCB standing frog splash gets a two count.

Caprice Coleman gets the hot tag and dominates BCB and Young, but ends up getting dropped. Ferrara then powerbombs BCB off the second rope, but Young knocks Coleman off the top rope. The Boys run out and distract, letting Ferrara hit a suicide DDT on BCB, and Coleman to win with a Sky Splitta.

- BJ Whitmer and Adam Page come out to address Steve Corino/Mr. Wrestling III saying there's somebody who wants to take Whitmer out. Corino comes out and says Whitmer needs to watch his back. The man is Adam Page, and the two brawl. They have to be broken up.

Mark Briscoe vs. Tim Hughes

Briscoe dominates Hughes here. Hughes gets a backbreaker, but it quickly destroyed with a Froggy Elbow.

Winner: Mark Briscoe via pinfall (Froggy Elbow)

- Main event time, lots of superkicks coming.

Young Bucks vs. ACH & Matt Sydal

ACH gets Superkick #1 early, then Sydal is dropkicked outside shortly after. Sydal flies outside with a flip and gets poked in the eyes back inside the ring. ACH hits a very sensible double team version of the top rope double foot stomp, and then dropkicks Matt Jackson, before walking into superkick #2. Sydal gets both Bucks with a Rana, but gets superkicks #3-4. The Bucks then superkick the air.

ACH is worked over until he tags Sydal, who slices Matt Jackson. Sydal makes the Jacksons kick each other, but gets superkicked for #5. ACH tries to fly through the ropes and eats #6-7. His foot caught the ropes, too. Sydal ranas Nick onto Matt Jackson, but misses the SSP and gets Superkick #8.

The Young Bucks hit a couple of absurd double team combo moves, but Sydal somehow kicks out. Sydal gets knees up on More Bang For Your Buck, and ACH hits Matt with a double foot stomp. Sydal lands a shooting star press and beats the Bucks!
