- By all indications, the UFC 196 pay-per-view is trending to do well over a million pay-per-view buys. The event's gate was also the third highest gate in company history.

- UFC 196 had a major impact on UFC's rankings. The newest polls have McGregor falling five spots in the pound-for-pound rankings, while Holly Holm fell out completely, replaced by Miesha Tate. For the first time in history, Ronda Rousey fell below the #1 spot, and is now #2 behind Champion Tate and #1 Holm in the Women's Bantamweight ranks. Ilir Latifi also reappeared in the 205-pound rankings at #13.
