Steve Austin Predicts "Bright Future" For NXT Star; Talks Dean Ambrose Losing To HHH, Roman Reigns

'Stone Cold' Steve Austin recently discussed WWE Roadblock on his podcast and had some favorable words for NXT's Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady. Austin said that Dean Ambrose came out ahead despite losing against Triple H in the main event live from Toronto, Canada. Finally, Austin declared that WrestleMania 32 will be make or break for Roman Reigns.

Austin stated that there is "big money" in the team of Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady with their valet, Carmella. In particular, Austin said that the sky is the limit for the man known as 'Big Cass'.

"Enzo has a ton of energy and is very charismatic. 'Big Cass', talk about a guy that is 7 foot there. And I like what Enzo says. He's talking about, 'you can't teach that' and that's a great catchphrase and it happens to be true. This kid's 7-foot, good looking kid, and pretty damn athletic. A real bright future for both of these guys, but, in particular, when you look at 'Big Cass', there is no ceiling for this guy if he keeps catching on like he has."

In Austin's view, Ambrose was elevated in defeat at WWE Roadblock. Although Ambrose lost clean to 'The Game', 'The Lunatic Fringe' was protected to the extent that he was taken out in a table spot and had to rush back into the ring to beat the official's ten-count just prior to taking Triple H's finish. Also, there was a false finish in the match where Ambrose appeared to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, only for the referee to wave off the pinfall.

"I think he shined so much as a wrestler, as a performer, that this match got him over more in my eyes than he was before this match and I liked Dean Ambrose to begin with." Austin continued, "this match elevated Dean Ambrose. Dude, someone who books can argue that point with me, but I stand by the fact that someone had to get beat and the right guy got beat and he got beat in the right way and it's going to make him stronger and that kid's got a great future. He did before this match [and] he really does now. He went out there on a big stage with a top guy and threw down."

Austin admitted that he loved the outstanding WWE Roadblock main event, but he stated that the match raised the stakes for Reigns' match with Triple H at WrestleMania 32, as Triple H proved that he is still capable of performing at a high level. If WrestleMania 32's world title bout is subpar, it will not be the fault of Triple H in all likelihood.

"Now, the stakes are high because Roman Reigns has got to go our there on the biggest stage of all with Triple H and Triple H is not going to crumble. He's going to have one hell of a game plan and he's going to be ready for the moment. Roman Reigns has got to go out there and execute now and do something just like this match [between Ambrose and Triple H at WWE Roadblock] happened, the stakes will be higher. There will probably be a few more bells and whistles involved, but, now, man, it's put up or shut up time for Roman."
